She's a lieutenant in Starfleet and this will be her first assignment for the Federation? That doesn't really make sense.
This woman is a pain in the butt!
All of the secondary characters get extra dialogue in this episode and this line from Nurse Chapel could be her best line of the entire series!
This makes no sense!! I find it hard to believe that such an important installation as Memory Alpha would be given NO shielding. The galaxy is a dangerous place!! (Yes, I know it's just a TV show)
This is a great scene. Scotty is so innocent and Kirk is very annoyed and quite sarcastic. Excellent!!
If this installation is as important as Mr. Spock says, surely they would have had SOME protection. Also, as all of us who use computers know, if something is SO important that losing it would be disasterous, then you HAVE to make a backup!

That's not a very nice thing to say about the good doctor! I just realized something... This means the common cold still isn't cured even by the 23rd century!!
They repeatedly call Lt. Romaine "The Girl." I don't think they should call her that. She's a lieutenant after all, but I do realize it was the 1960's.

It would be interesting to find out more about the Zetarians and the disaster that struck them down.

This is an excellent ending to this episode, although the episode isn't one of my favorites. |
