The blurb on the back of the book promises "ultimate" adventure. The story is a good one, no doubt, but I don't think in lives up to the "ultimate" hype. It's difficult to rate a book that's also a movie because you can't help but think of how good the movie is and rate the book high because of it. The movie is much better than the book. Don't get me wrong though, this is my favorite Star Trek movie!
